“ The ambiance and design is stylish and inviting. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food is divine and delicious. We tried a little bit of everything and absolutely loved the charcuterie board, endives, potato salad and almond ice cream (must try these!). The wine selection was fantastic, as was the beer. Highly recommend! ”
“ Very good food bursting with flavor and unique spices. Server was super nice keeping the tapas coming at regular intervals. We visited on my husband’s work trip with the kids. No kids menu but they were satisfied with the tapas as well. They like unique flavors and trying new too. We also got a crab cake I forgot to photo delicious however it was ONE single crab cake for 24. Even if it were two or three smaller cakes like the meatballs were it would have been easier for the table to share. Unique ambience with eclectic table ware in a variety of colors and design set the mood. I enjoyed the low back seating to relax in. Owner, Amanda, was there and spoke with many guests or seated them. Although she didn’t make it to our table, perfectly fine, our server was great and well knowledgeable. Overall, try it. Flavors are on point. ”
“ I had pretty low expectations before coming here because tapas for us lately have been overpriced baby bites of disappointment. BUT... Not sure I can add anything new that hasn’t already been covered by other rave reviews. Awesome ambiance, people, and food! We had six tapas and all were bursting with tons of flavor: beets, octopus, asparagus, crab cakes, kale salad (how did they make kale taste so good?!) and shrimp tostadas. Sure, it’s not cheap, but after having so many expensive yet bland dishes out I’m totally happy to spend more on these gems of flavor. I would probably not describe this place as a super “traditional” Spanish tapas place (no iberico/serano ham, no salt cod anything, etc), but the flavors are so bold and bright that I’m not sure how anyone could complain. And the folks who said the shrimp tostadas were too spicy in their review probably think black pepper is “spicy” /shrug. ”
“ Honestly one of the best places I’ve eaten at in the Southeast. We went for our anniversary and enjoyed several cocktails with our tapas. The service was impeccable- our server explained the menu well and was warm, but gave us just the right amount of space to talk and really enjoy our evening (sometimes I feel rushed out of restaurants and this was not the case at Amada!). Truly, everything we tried was so well seasoned, had so much flavor, and had beautiful textures. Reminds me of a meal in a Michelin-star restaurant. Plus, our bill was so reasonable for everything we ate and drank. I was really blown away! I’ve begun recommending this place to all of my friends, even though most of us live over an hour away. Also, parking is pretty easy if you’ve ever parked in a city- find a spot, follow the payment instructions, etc. Highly recommend!! ”
“ Had an amazing birthday dinner here - the bartender even went above and beyond and made some delicious mocktails for us before we sat down for the meal. The food, service, and environment are all well above what you’d expect - highly recommended. Thanks for making our night special! ”
“ Amanda has charming decor, well-crafted cocktails, and a nicely varied menu. We went for our anniversary and enjoyed every dish, but our favorite was the endive, which was an elegant blend of sweet and savory. ”
“ Was a great dinner and we were surprised by the delightful experience and atmosphere.. The carpaccio of salmon uff the best! ”
“ I have been extremely excited to eat here upon opening. The wine was delicious, however, they only have a few bottles available to drink by the glass, which I feel is the largest downside to this restaurant. You have to be prepared to drink or you will have little options if you just want a glass or two. The food was excellent. We had the potato bravas, the meatballs, the scallops, and crab cakes. All were excellent. The service was wonderful and everyone was constantly making sure we were taken care of. This is a cute date night spot for sure. ”
